Therefore, we have founded our subsidiary, HG LAB TRUCK GmbH, based in Kirchberg in Tyrol in order to launch the LAB TRUCK – the first laboratory on wheels which will contribute significantly to the expansion of COVID-19 test capacities and provide a safe feeling and clarity.
Currently on the road for the province of Tyrol:
The innovative laboratory on wheels enables up to 4,000 tests per day and helps to significantly expand COVID-19 testing capacity. The LAB TRUCK is currently in use for the province of Tyrol.

The laboratory diagnostic gold standard for the diagnosis of an infection with corona virus SARS-CoV-2 is the direct detection of the virus by PCR test.
At LAB TRUCK, we evaluate throat swabs and gargle tests.
The throat swab
Typically, the samples are obtained by nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal smear of the upper respiratory tract at the screening station of the LAB TRUCK.
The gargle test or throat flush test
The gargle test or throat flush test is an alternative to the throat swab. It can be carried out independently and location-independently with the gargle set and is sent to the LAB TRUCK for evaluation.
The course of disease of COVID-19 varies greatly and there is even a risk of spreading in the case of a subjectively asymptomatic course. Therefore, it is not sufficient to isolate only clinically conspicuous individuals.

HG Pharma presents the first high-tech laboratory on wheels
Our LAB TRUCK is absolutely self-sufficient and mobile. Laboratory tests are no longer tied to a specific location and the tedious search for a suitable laboratory is no longer necessary. Thanks to a state-of-the-art laboratory technology and the expertise of HG Pharma, we are able to offer highly professional tests. In addition, the waiting time for urgently expected test results is massively reduced as the tests are immediately evaluated in the laboratory of the LAB TRUCK. Thus, the test results are already known on the same day of the testing. Test persons receive a notification when the test result is available in the specially developed HG LAB TRUCK app.
